Museum of World Treasures Honors Volunteers at Annual Appreciation Dinner

At our Annual Appreciation Dinner, Museum of World Treasures recognized three volunteers whose time, care, and leadership have made a lasting impact on our work and our visitors.
Honoring a Legacy of Service
Ron Bogard received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of service since 2012. In recognition of Ron’s impact, we also established a new annual honor: the Ron Bogard Volunteer of the Year Award.
This year marked the first presentation of the Ron Bogard Volunteer of the Year Award, and we were proud to recognize two inaugural recipients: Allison Waldt and Nanxue “Aliessia” Liu.

Lifetime Achievement Award
- Volunteering since 2012
- Serves as a tour guide and supports exhibit construction
- Known for noticing and fixing behind-the-scenes needs that keep the museum running
Allison Waldt
Ron Bogard Volunteer of the Year Award (Inaugural Recipient)
- Supported the museum across the past 2 years
- Helped with inventory and reporting
- Contributed to fundraisers and educational programming
- Consistently stepped in wherever help was needed
Nanxue “Aliessia” Liu
Ron Bogard Volunteer of the Year Award (Inaugural Recipient)
- Served as a docent and tour guide for 8 years
- Became a key leader for field trips
- Instrumental in launching and leading Hands-on History
- Volunteered almost daily this fall
